Amazing! After much calling around, finally found someone to come out on a Sunday morning. My air conditioning and refrigerator had been fried by an electrical problem. Repair for both had been unable to determine to the source. Electrician found the difficulty was caused by the power company. Each requires a different truck loadout and a different playbook. Kiawah River, Fenwick Hall, and Swygert's Landing are the modern residential picture. Everything west of Bohicket Road is still, largely, rural.
Pre-1980 single-family homes on well and septic. Original 100-amp panels are common, often Federal Pacific or the original General Electric TQL series.
