Our Process
Step 1: Discovery
We meet with the owner and design team to understand program, budget, and schedule, then produce a rough load and cost order of magnitude.
Step 2: Design
We produce load calcs, one-lines, panel schedules, and specifications, then coordinate with the utility and AHJ.
Step 3: Contract
Design is priced as GMP or lump sum, with allowances called out and unit prices for change management.
Step 4: Build
In-house crews install to the drawings, we chair coordination meetings, and we turn over the finished system with as-builts and O&M.

Frequently Asked Questions
How is design-build different from design-bid-build?
Design-bid-build separates the engineer and the contractor onto two contracts, with the owner bridging both. Design-build puts both under one contract, so schedule and constructability decisions are made in the same room.
Do you provide stamped drawings?
Yes. We team with licensed South Carolina electrical engineers to stamp drawings when the AHJ or utility requires them.
What size projects do you take on design-build?
We deliver design-build from small tenant fit-outs up through 20,000+ square foot commercial buildouts. For very large projects we bring in a specialty consulting engineer partner.
